Hi dear friend.
"I have no idea." These words have become my go-to, my little lifesavers in the middle of all the confusion. They've guided me through those "What the heck is going on?!" moments and surprisingly, they've led me to a chill zone deep within. It's like finding a cosy corner where I don't have to stress about planning every little thing or having all the answers, which I love by the way. Instead, I try to just let life happen, without worrying about where it's headed
It's a strange feeling, embracing the unknown with open arms. As someone who's always been a big planner and organiser, surrendering to the unpredictability of life initially felt like stepping into a big hole. But then I discovered something magical in that hole - the freedom to simply be.
In the yoga sutras of Patanjali, there's a concept known as "Ishvara Pranidhana", which basically translates to surrendering to a higher power or divine source. It's about relinquishing our attachment to outcomes and trusting in the greater wisdom of the universe. And for me, engaging the mantra of "I have no idea" has been a tangible manifestation of this surrender.
It's not about being apathetic or indifferent to life's twists and turns. It's about nurturing a sense of openness and receptivity to whatever comes our way. It's about releasing the need to constantly have all the answers, and instead accepting the beauty of uncertainty.
And let me tell you, there's a certain freedom that comes with admitting you have no idea.
